SOLID PORCELAIN TOOTH REPAIR

Like a crown, a porcelain inlay or onlay is used when a tooth has become so damaged that a standard filling would be unsuitable. Inlays and onlays differ from a crown or a filling though. Crowns cover the entire tooth, and a filling patches spaces together. Inlays and onlays are solid milled porcelain and can replace whole cusps and biting surfaces of your teeth.

Inlays and onlays are designed to match the bite strength and feel of your natural teeth. Unlike fillings, which leave a tooth slightly weakened, an Inlay or onlay restores teeth to their original toughness.
